BEAUTY: SPRING LIPS BY BOBBI BROWN

Bobbi Brown have launched a new wave of spring lip colours – although not just the pastels you’d expect!

I got my hands on three of the new season shades – Pink Nude, Dark Chocolate and Hollywood Red.

First up – Pink Nude Creamy Matte Lip Colour, £19.50

This is a must-have pastel shade for SS15. It takes a few coats to get the even, smooth desired look but once on – it doesn’t budge for hours! The Creamy Matte Lip Color combines the look of a classic matte lip with wearability.

Next – Dark Chocolate sheer lip colour, £19.50

Brown is brave but wearable! The colour is rich but with a soft, creamy shine. Formulated with emollient Shea Butter and skin conditioners, it glides on smooth and leaves lips soft and moisturised. I teamed the Dark Chocolate Lip Colour with a matte cream eye shadow and bronzer to complete the look.

Finally – Hollywood Red sheer lip colour, £19.50

It’s not always the easiest colour to work, but red is guaranteed to make a statement. This was my favourite of the three. The sheer lip colour gives an effortless wash of colour with shine. The best part? Luxurious butters and oils improve the overall condition of lips, instantly and over time. The colour glides on smoothly and evenly although it did appear slightly more pink than red in some lights.
