A luxurious hideaway in Sherwood Forest, you enter the spa through a long tree-lined driveway that weaves between the forest.
I visited the rural retreat for a girl’s day out. We arrived early morning for breakfast – a fresh fruit salad and herbal tea – but if you’re not detoxing or being healthy, choose from warm pastries, cakes and juices.
We began to wander through the 25 spa areas; heating and cooling experiences, outdoor hot tubs, foot spas, fireside relaxation areas, a tree-house sauna and the most instagrammable heated outdoor pool surrounded by hanging plants and flowers.
We took a lunch break in the Vitale café serving up sandwiches and light lunches, then made our way to the treatment area for a massage and facial. The therapist used Elemis carefully selected for my specific skin type; leaving my body smooth with a fresh-faced glow.
